Panama will host, for the first time, a global summit on the "marketing economy"
The City of Panama, will host for the first time on June 20 and 21 the International Summit «EXMA-Expo Marketing», which will be attended by representatives of 10 countries and whose main activity will be the marketing economy focused on tourism, reported an official source.
In the presentation of the event, experiences on global trends will be shared on issues of service marketing, e-commerce, experiences, technology and tourism, the Tourism Authority of Panama (ATP) reported in a press release.
The president of EXMA Latin America, Fernando Anzures, said that they will bring to Panama a whole platform in the coming months focused on an editorial, magazine, workshops and online content to be discussed in the international event.
«The market economy is not just advertising or campaigning, it's about getting an idea to be developed with creativity (…) it's about demystifying and democratizing it, because big companies are not the only ones that can handle it, but any individual with a creative idea can add value to create their own marketing,» he said.
Regarding the marketing of tourism in the countries, Anzures said that this activity can give the authentic value to the nation by promoting correctly what it is intended to give to the tourist.
