Air Europa will resume flights to Panama in July
Like its parent company Iberia, the company signs an agreement with PROMTUR Panama to contribute to its promotion and international projection
Continuing with the recovery of its network of destinations, Air Europa will resume its Madrid-Panama City route from July with two weekly frequencies, on Tuesdays and Sundays; as announced in the framework of the International Tourism Fair of Madrid Fitur 2021. The airline affirms that, maintaining its commitment to Panama, renewed in 2019 by restarting operations with the country, it has signed an agreement with the Panamanian tourism authorities to contribute to its promotion and international projection.
Air Europa will join the airports of Madrid-Barajas and Tocumén with its Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner fleet, its most efficient and sustainable aircraft, capable of reducing up to 20% of its emissions compared to any other aircraft of similar size, and reducing up to 60% of its acoustic impact.
With capacity for 296 seats-configured 274 in Economy class and 22 in Business-the Dreamliner offers on board a more comfortable experience due to its humidity level and its lighting in the passenger cabin. Additionally, like the rest of the new aircraft models, both American and European, the Dreamliner fleet has HEPA filters that guarantee the filtration and elimination of pathogens in a 99.99% guaranteeing the sanitation of the air in the passenger cabin.
The schedule of flights back to Madrid Barajas, hub of Air Europa, allows connections with the company's flights to its network of national and European destinations.
The company has reinforced its strict cleaning protocols and has activated protection measures, including the reduction of manipulable objects on board; new boarding and disembarking processes; maximum separation between passengers that allows the occupancy of the flight and perform online all the procedures related to your trip. In this sense, Air Europa highlights that it has optimized its website and developed a new app to offer a more intuitive management and improve the passenger booking experience.
It has also announced a new tariff structure and a broader flexibilization policy.
