The new Amador Convention Center will be opened in end of 2018 in Panama

The new Amador Convention Center (CCA) in Panama is expected to be delivered by the end of 2018. The convention center is the most important link for hotels in the city, because it will bring a large flow of visitors and improve hotel occupancy.

Nestled on the Pacific Ocean to the west, the Amador Convention Center (Centro de Convenciones de Amador) is located on the south side of the Panama Canal in Panama City.

The location of the convention center offers an extraordinary view of the historic Panama Canal and the majestic Panama City skyline. The world-famous Panama-Pacific International Exhibition will be held at the Convention Center once it is completed which will continue driving the robust convention and exhibition industry in Panama.

The project is one of the most important public projects currently supported by the government. The $193 million project contains 59,000 square meters (approximately 635,000 sq ft) of construction area and is expected to generate an annual revenue of $700 million for the country after its grand opening in 2018.

This Amador Convention Center will have an exhibition room of 15,000 square meters that can be divided into three or four meeting rooms of 2,300 square meters which in turn can be divided into 16 smaller rooms. The banquet room is 4,000 square meters, which can be split into three smaller rooms. There is a great central lobby, waiting areas of 12,000 square meters and parking for 1,715 cars and 30 buses.
