TechNet Conference 2023 will be in Panama City 16 -19 October

We are delighted to confirm that the 17th TechNet Conference will take place in Panama City, Panama in the Region of the Americas (PAHO). The conference will begin on Monday, October 16, 2023 and finish on Thursday, October 19, 2023. The title will be: RAISE (Resilient | Adaptive | Innovative | Sustainable | Equitable) Immunization Programs That Leave No One Behind

Presentations given at the TechNet Conference will be organised into the seven Immunization Agenda 2030 Strategic Priorities:

  1. Immunization Programmes for Primary Health Care/Universal Health Coverage
  2. Commitment & Demand
  3. Coverage & Equity
  4. Life Course & Integration
  5. Outbreaks & Emergencies
  6. Supply & Sustainability
  7. Research & Innovation

Daily "perspectives" will be based on the four Core Principles of the Immunization Agenda 2030: People-centred, Country-owned, Partnership-based, and Data-guided.

As in previous conferences, there will be a focus on topics related to both vaccine supply chain and immunization service delivery. However, many other key immuniztion topics related to the Immunization Agenda 2030 will also be showcased. 

Registration for the conference will open on June 1, 2023. Further details regarding the conference venue, agenda, and exact timings will be released shortly. A Request for Abstracts will also be issued to enable members of the TechNet community to submit ideas for presentations, posters, and side events.   

 About the TechNet Conference

The TechNet Conference is held every two or three years and enables immunization professionals to meet and discuss the latest developments in immunization practices and policy. The TechNet Conference gathers together key stakeholders in immunization programmes from around the world: managers of national immunization programmes, WHO and UNICEF staff members, vaccine and cold chain equipment manufacturers, representatives from public health agencies, development partners, academia, and independent experts. Events at the conference are typically organized into plenary and interactive sessions, with a variety of side events including a Manufacturers Marketplace, Innovations Cafe, and Project Gallery.
